At Taco & Buns, we’re a family-run street food kitchen bringing fresh, bold flavours to the heart of Leyton. Our mission is simple — to serve quality, handcrafted food with warmth and care. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or settling in with friends, we believe great food should feel both comforting and exciting, with a touch of the neighbourhood charm we’re proud of. Since opening our doors in 2022, we’ve been passionate about doing things the right way — using quality ingredients, cooked with passion and attention to detail.
From our dry-aged beef burgers and fresh handmade buns delivered by a local bakery, to our signature buttermilk fried chicken seasoned in our own secret blend, every dish is crafted for flavour and freshness. We’re always experimenting, refining, and developing our recipes to keep every bite at its best.
As a fully halal kitchen, we take pride in maintaining the highest standards across everything we do — quality food, excellent customer service, and a spotless kitchen. Even some of our sauces are made in-house, because we believe real quality comes from care at every step.

We’re just an 8-minute walk from Lea Bridge Station — one stop from Stratford (about 5 minutes by train).
By Bus
55 and 56 stop right on our doorstep — less than a 1-minute walk.
158 and 58 stop nearby — around a 10-minute walk.
By Car
If you’re driving, there’s a 15-minute loading bay directly outside our shop on Morieux Road, perfect for quick collection, as well as a 30 minute bay.
